What is guaranteed?
Deposit Indemnity
Deposits paid to licenced companies for installations can be covered by the Consumer Guard Insurance Scheme provided the sum paid does not exceed £7500 or 25% of the net contract price, which ever is the lessor (subject to conditions).
Important: The registration form must be completed in full. The customer must return Part A of this to the Administrator by recorded delivery within 7 days of the order date. Failure to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions will invalidate any future claim. Terms and Conditions of this Insurance are printed on the reverse of the Deposit Registration form.
Insurance Backed Guarantee
In the unlikely event that the member company should cease to trade, a CPA Consumer Guard Insurance Backed Guarantee will enable you to claim for the repair of any installation defects that may subsequently arise. Depending on the nature of the work undertaken, this guarantee is available for a period of 10 years.
Important: Upon completion of your installation you must ensure that you receive your Insurance Backed Guarantee detailing the scheme's terms & conditions. In the event of a claim you must produce this document.
